1. None present for the petitioner.
2. Mr. S.K. Nailwal, learned Standing Counsel for the State of Uttarakhand.
3. By means of this writ petition, filed in 2018, petitioner has sought the following relief:-
(i) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of Mandamus commanding and directing the respondents to grant/pay the suitable compensation to the petitioner in lieu of acquisition of her land Khata no. 494 Khasra no. 681.
4. A counter affidavit has been filed by Ms. Sangeeta Kanaujiya, Special Land Acquisition Officer, Haridwar. Para 7 of the said counter affidavit is extracted below:-
7. That the contents of paragraph no.7 of the writ petition are vehemently denied since no part of land on Khasra no. 681 has been acquired therefore, question of paying compensation to the petitioner is not required. In further allegations raised in the writ petition are vehemently denied.

5. In view of the stand taken by respondents in the counter affidavit, that petitioner’s land was not acquired, therefore, there is no question of paying compensation to her.
6. No rejoinder affidavit has been filed to the said counter affidavit. Thus, the averments made in the counter affidavit has to be treated, as correct. Having regard to the facts of the case, there is no scope for interference in the matter.
7. Accordingly, the writ petition fails and is dismissed.
