Crl.MP.No.6627 of 2026 in Crl.A.SR.No.15360 of 2026 A.D.JAGADISH CHANDIRA, J. This petition has been filed seeking to condone the delay of 1320 days in filing the appeal in Crl.A.SR.No.15360 of 2026 against the conviction and sentence imposed on 28.04.2022 in Spl.S.C.No.48 of 2019 on the file of the Sessions Court, Magalir Neethimandram(FTMC), Tiruppur. 2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and Ms.J.R.Archana, learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent. 3. Satisfied with the reasons stated in the affidavit filed in support of this petition and also considering the fact that the petitioner is in jail and that he had no one to assist him properly and the same resulted in the above delay and that the appeal filed by the co-accused is pending before this Court in Crl.A.No.169 of 2026, this petition stands allowed. 4. Registry is directed to number the criminal appeal, if the papers are otherwise in order and list the same for admission along with Crl.A.No.169 of 2026 in due course. 16.04.2026 skt https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis
