This Court on 04.08.2026 passed the following order: “1. When the matter is taken up for hearing, learned Assistant Public Prosecutor submits that the police filed charge sheet on 24.07.2026 in FIR in Crime No.446 of 2025, dated 16.09.2025 of Bhavanipuram Police Station, NTR Commissionerate District, and he seeks time to place on record a copy of the same. 2. At his request, list on 05.08.2026 under the caption “for orders” in the Adjourned Motion List. 3. When the matter is taken up for hearing today in the morning session, there is no representation for the petitioner, and accordingly the matter has been passed over. Even though the matter is taken up for hearing after the lunch session, there is no representation for the petitioner. 4 4. On the other hand, learned Assistant Public Prosecutor submits that in the very same FIR in Crime No.446 of 2025 the police filed charge- sheet before concerned jurisdictional magistrate. 5. Having regard to the facts and circumstances, coupled with the fact that a charge-sheet has been filed before the concerned jurisdictional Magistrate, the Criminal Petition is closed, leaving it open to the petitioner to work out his appropriate legal remedies in accordance with law.
