The petitioner in this writ petition has prayed for direction to the concerned respondents to pay the compensation amount to her, as the land belonging to her ancestor namely, Bonta Ho, Son of Panu Ho (Khatiani) pertaining to Mauza-Bara Jhinkpani, Thana No. 616, 17; Plot No. 1063, 1183, area about 0.09, 0.12 acre and Khata No. 48, Plot No. 1066, Area 0.01 acre was acquired for the project Singhpokharia, PWD Road to Jayantgarh Garh via Jhinkpani Sirgasia Jagarnathpur, Singhbhum West for expanding the widening of the road and the Petitioner is entitled for the compensation of the acquired land, as she is only surviving decedent of Bonta Ho. 3. It is the case of the petitioner that the aforesaid land belongs to the petitioner and same has been acquired and utilized for the 2026:JHHC:12426 2 construction of the road. He submits that the petitioner is entitled for the compensation amount and the respondents are duty bound to disburse the same to the petitioner. 4. Considering the nature of prayer made by the petitioner, I direct the petitioner to approach to Respondent No.4 District Land Acquisition Officer, Chaibasa who will consider the claim of the petitioner and if it is found that the land belonging to the petitioner, has been acquired / utilized by the respondents the compensation amount should be disbursed to the petitioner at the earliest. 5. If the respondents find that the petitioner is not entitled for the reliefs claimed, the reasons should be communicated to the petitioner. The entire process should be concluded by the Respondents within a period of 10 weeks after receiving of the copy of this Order. 5. With the aforesaid observation, this writ petition is disposed of.
