Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner at the outset places reliance upon the order and judgment dated 29th October, 2025 passed by this Court in WP(C) No. 2658/2025 and submits that the case of the petitioner is identical and similarly situated with the case of the petitioner in the aforesaid writ petition and, therefore, this petition can be disposed of in terms of the judgment passed by this Court in WP(C) No. 2658/2025. 02. Having heard learned counsel for the petitioner and perused the material on record, we are of the considered opinion that the case of the petitioner is identical and similarly situated to that of the writ petitioners in WP(C) No. 2658/2025. Relying upon the aforesaid judgment, this petition is disposed of with a direction to the petitioner to approach the Competent Authority for registration of his GST number within a period MIR ARIF MANZOOR I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document 20.04.26 of seven days. The Competent Authority shall restore GST number of the petitioner immediately, subject to the completion of all requisite formalities. The petitioner shall file the returns and deposit the taxes and penalty along with interest within a period of seven days of such registration. In the event the needful is not done by the petitioner within the stipulated period, this order shall cease to be in operation and the registration shall be deemed to have been withdrawn. 03.
