The petitioners have alleged contempt at the hands of respondent-Mr. Gautam Gedam, alleging willful disobedience of order dated 06.02.2025 passed in Writ Petition No.606/2025. By the said order, the then Education Officer was directed to decide the representation within a period of eight weeks from the date of production of the order. 3. Mr. Gautam Gedam is present in the Court. He was not working as the Education Officer at the relevant time. He was given charge of the Education Officer with effect from 08.08.2025 till 28.10.2025. According to him, the officer who was holding charge was Mrs. Rohini Kumbhare. 4. It appears that petitioners have, without examining as to who was responsible for the alleged disobedience of the order, blamed the innocent person Mr. Gedam. 5. The petitioner shall, accordingly, compensate Mr. Gedam for making him party respondent in the matter of contempt where he had no role to play. Even otherwise, we are informed that the order in question has been complied with by the present incumbent namely, Mr. Anil Dahiphale. (2) 39cp270.26 6. The petition is accordingly dismissed with a direction to the petitioner to pay to Mr. Gautam Gedam an amount of Rs.25,000/- which shall be paid within one week from today.
