The writ petitioner had approached this Court with a prayer for quashing the result of the personal interview for the post of Chowkidar at Rajabala Higher Secondary School, West Garo Hills, Meghalaya, and had also impugned the selection of the respondent No. 7. 2. As it is now reported by the learned counsel for the State respondents that the appointment of the respondent No. 7, has since been recalled and the petitioner has been appointed in his place, Mr. P.T. 2026:MLHC:1000 Sangma, learned counsel for the petitioner prays that he may be allowed to withdraw the instant writ petition. 3.
