JUSTICE M.NAGAPRASANNA ORAL ORDER The petitioners are accused Nos.2, 4 and 5 before this court seeking the following prayer: PRAYER "WHEREFORE, the Petitioners most humbly pray that this Hon'ble Court be pleased to quash the charge sheet in C.C.No.7521/2020 (arising out of Crime No.31/2020) registered by the First Respondent Police, on the complaint of the Second Respondent, for the offences made penal under Sections 498-A, 506 read with 34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act and its consequential further proceedings, presently pending on the file of the XI Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Bengaluru City". 2. Learned High Court Government Pleader on verification of the records would submit that charges have already been framed which is accepted by the learned counsel Sri.Sathyanarayana Chalke appearing for the petitioner. - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:14216 CRL.P No. 2044 of 2026 Learned counsel would now submit that if a direction is issued to the concerned Court for expeditious trial it would suffice. 3. In the light of the said submission and the issue pending for the last 3 years without moving further, I deem it appropriate to direct the concerned Court to dispose the proceedings with an outer limit of 6 months from the date of receipt of the copy of the order, if not earlier.
