By means of this writ petition, petitioners have sought the following reliefs:- (i) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of certiorari to quash the impugned detailed amendment dated 26.10.2024 (Annexure 3; page 50 to 52), read with the amendment carried out in the certiorari on 16.09.2025 (Annexure 5; page 56 to 57), and as being contrary to the terms of the advertisement dated 18.07.2024 (Annexure 2; page 25 to 49), and tantamount to changing the rules of the game midway through the selecting process. (ii) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the respondent Uttarakhand Public Service Commission to act upon the advertisement as released on 18.07.2024, for the post of Additional Private Secretary, for 103 vacancies as per the terms of the advertisement dated 18.07.2024, and the elaborate pre determined marking pattern of the first round be followed and factored in preparing the final merit. (Annexure 2; page 25 to 49). 4. Mr. Pankaj Miglani, learned counsel UKHC010072232026 2026:UHC:5194 for the Selecting Body submits that identical issue was dealt with by coordinate Bench in WPSS No. 1585 of 2026. He thus submits that the writ petition deserves to be decided in terms of the said judgment. 5. Upon perusal of the judgment, relied upon by learned counsel for the respondent, this Court finds that issue involved is identical. 6. In such view of the matter, the present writ petition is decided in terms of judgment dated 17.06.2026 rendered in WPSS No. 1585 of 2026.
