This petition has been filed for a direction, directing the respondents 1 to 3 to issue suitable direction to respondents No.4 to 7 to collect temple tax from the petitioners branch family members and consequently permit them to participate and worship in the temple festival of Tharamangalam Arunachalapudhur Puththu Mariamman Temple, situated at Arunachalam Pudhur, Tharamangalam, Salem District, Pin Code 636 502 to be held on 31.03.2026 through consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 18.02.2026 on merits and in accordance with law 3. It is the case of the petitioner that the petitioner married intercaste marriage, hence, the village peoples are not allowing the petitioner's family to enter into the temple and participate in festival and offer contributions. Hence, the petitioner sent a representation dated 18.02.2026 to the official respondents which is pending without consideration till date. Hence, this writ petition. 4. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader and perused the materials placed on record. 5.
