No. Date Office Notes, reports, orders or proceedings or directions and Registrar’s order with Signatures COURT’S OR JUDGE’S ORDERS WPMS/2096/2018 Inder Mohan Aggarwal … Petitioner Versus State Of Uttarakhand Through Secretary Public Works Department … Respondent Hon’ble Manoj Kumar Tiwari, J 1. None present for the petitioner. 2. Mr. Suyash Pant, learned Standing Counsel for the State of Uttarakhand. 3. Mr. Naresh Pant, learned counsel for the respondent-NHAI. 4. Petitioner has approached this Court seeking a direction to the authorities to redesign the length of approach road on National Highway-74 from Maharana Pratap Chowk towards Moradabad in Kashipur. 5. This writ petition was filed in 2018; nearly eight years have gone by since filing of the writ petition, and the construction of the road must have been completed. Even otherwise also, the alignment of the road has to be decided by Experts in the field. In the absence of expertise, this Court cannot direct the authorities to redesign the road. 6. Thus, the relief, as claimed in the writ petition, cannot be granted. Accordingly, the writ petition fails and is dismissed.
