The petitioner is an accused in the case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 103(1) & 3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), 2023. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in the present case and has not committed any offence as alleged. The petitioner has not been named in the F.I.R. He has been implicated in the present case on the basis of alleged confessional statements of co-accused persons, namely, Nicols Nag @ Mangra Nag and Ajay Adam Sandi Purti. Except the alleged confession of the said co-accused persons, there is no any cogent material to connect the petitioner with the alleged offence. Co-accused-Ajay Adam Sandi Purti has already been granted regular bail by a Bench of this Court vide order dated 13.10.2025 passed in B.A. No. 9252 of 2025. The petitioner has no criminal antecedent as has been stated in paragraph No. 17 of the present bail application. The petitioner is in judicial 2026:JHHC:12690 2 custody since 19.01.2026. Hence, he may be given the privilege of regular bail. 3. Learned A.P.P. opposes the petitioner’s prayer for regular bail. 4. Having heard learned counsel for the parties and considering the materials available on record, I am inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. The petitioner is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Khunti in connection with Arki P.S.
