The petitioner is working as a Professor with respondent No.3-College run by respondent No.4- Management and affiliated to respondent No.5-University.

The contention is that the petitioner is entitled for CAS benefits and accordingly, the proposal was submitted by the respondent No.3 to the respondent No.2 on
20.01.2026. The aforesaid proposal is at record Page No.63 Annexure-15. However, the respondent No.2 has returned the aforesaid proposal vide communication dated 07.04.2026 pointing out certain deficiencies in the aforesaid proposal. The aforesaid proposal is at record Page No.64 Annexure-16.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that since 07.04.2026 it is more than five months now that the respondent Nos.3 and 4 have not again submitted the proposal granting benefits of CAS to the petitioner after 2026:BHC-NAG:11997-DB
2 105 wp 6617.26.odt..odt removing the discrepancies as pointed out by respondent No.2-Joint Director of Higher Education. Hence, the petitioner has approached to this Court.

Learned counsel for the petitioner has invited our attention to the various representations made by the petitioner to redress her grievance requesting the respondents to submit her proposal again. However, respondent Nos.3 and 4 have done nothing in the matter.

In view of above, we dispose of petition with a direction to respondent No.3-College and respondent No.4- Management to submit the proposal for grant of CAS benefits to the petitioner after removing the deficiencies as pointed out by respondent No.2-Joint Director in communication dated 07.04.2026 within a period of four weeks from the date of production of order of this Court.

Once such proposal is submitted to the respondent No.2, respondent No.2 is directed to decide the same on its own merits and in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of such proposal.

The decision taken thereupon, shall be communicated to the petitioner within a period of two weeks from the date of such decision.

Writ petition accordingly disposed of.
