1. Heard learned counsel appearing for the respective parties. 2. By the present application, the applicant (jail inmate) prays for condonation of delay of 303 days caused while lodging the appeal. 3. On perusal of the application, it appears that the applicant has given the bonafide and substantial reason for not filing the appeal within stipulated period. The applicant is undergoing imprisonment for a period of 20 years. 4. Considering the reasons mentioned in the application, the delay of 303 days caused in lodging the appeal is hereby condoned. 5. By the present appeal, the appellant takes exception to the judgment and order dated 02/09/2025 passed by the learned Special Judge (Under POCSO Act) and Additional Sessions Judge, Gondia, in Special (POCSO) Case No. 97 of 2022, arising out of Crime No. 374 of 2022 registered with Salekasa Police Station, District Gondia, for the offence punishable under Section 376(AB) and 376(2)(f) of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 and Section 6 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012. 3.
