This Application has been filed for quashing the entire proceedings of Criminal Case No.502 of 2024, “State vs. Sher Khan”, pending before the court of learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate/Additional Civil Judge (Senior Division), Roorkee, District Haridwar under Section 380 and Section 457 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860.

According to the respondent no.1 - State, a LCD TV, ten electric press, three induction and other articles were stolen from the shop of the respondent no.2 - informant on the night of 21.11.2022. The First Information Report was registered on 23.11.2022 against unknown 1
2026:UHC:188 person. The stolen goods were recovered from the possession of the applicant.

Both, applicant and the respondent no.2 submitted that they have resolved their all the differences and after resolving their differences they have filed a Compounding Application (IA No.1 of 2026) and affidavits with their free will and without any pressure. The respondent no.2 has requested to quash the entire proceedings of the said Criminal Case No.502 of 2024.

The said request has not been opposed by the learned counsel for the respondent no.1. 2

10. Considering the totality of the matter, the present Application, filed under Section 528 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, is allowed and the entire proceedings of Criminal Case No.502 of 2024,
“State vs. Sher Khan”, pending before the court of learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate/ Additional Civil Judge (Senior Division), Roorkee, District Haridwar, are hereby quashed.
