Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody in connection with Danda P.S. Case No. 42/2024 corresponding to G.R. Case No. 52/2025 for the offence registered under Section 74, 64(1), 126(2), 110 of BNS, now said to have been pending in the court of learned District & Sessions Judge-I, Garhwa. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the bail application of the petitioner was rejected twice earlier and he is in custody since 18.10.2024. He further submits that out of 7 charge-sheet witnesses, only 2 have been examined till 20.01.2026 and the next date in the case is on 30.04.2026. 3. Learned counsel for the State has opposed the prayer and has submitted that there is direct allegation levelled against the petitioner. He submits that the trial may be expedited. 4. After hearing the learned counsel for the parties and considering the fact that the bail application of the petitioner was rejected twice earlier and that there is directed allegation levelled against the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. However, the State is directed to ensure prompt production of the witnesses during trial and it has already been informed by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the next date in the trial is 30.04.2026. 6. Learned counsel for the State is directed to communicate a copy of this order to the Director, Prosecution as well as Superintendent of Police of the concerned district to ensure compliance. 7.
