Angami, learned Government Advocate appearing on behalf of the State respondents and Mr. Peter Rana, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondent nos. 3 and 4. 2. This is an application filed by the legal heirs of one Joydip Dutta, who was the petitioner in the accompanying writ petition, and had expired on 12.01.2026. It is also taken note of that this Court by and order dated 29.05.2026 passed in IA(Civil)/81/2026 arising out of WP(C)/135/2025 had granted leave to the applicants to file a separate application for the purpose of the instant writ petition. 3. Taking into account that the right to sue survives upon the legal representatives of the original petitioner upon his death, this Court substitutes the original petitioner of the Page No.# 3/3 accompanying writ petition, with his legal heirs whose names have been mentioned in Para 4 of the instant application. 4. The legal heirs of the original petitioner shall accordingly be arrayed as petitioner nos. 1.1 and 1.2 to the accompanying writ petition. 5. The learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioners shall within 7 (seven) days from today, submit a fresh memo of parties before the Registry of this Court and the Registry shall on the basis of the present order as well as the said memo of parties make necessary changes in the cause title of the accompanying writ petition and update the same in the CIS. 6.
