3. By means of this writ petition, petitioner has sought the following relief:-
“i) Issue a writ, order or direction directing to SSP Udham Singh Nagar and SHO of P.S. ITI Kashipur, District Udham Singh Nagar to Release the vehicle no. UK19CA-0048 in favour of petitioner.”
4. A short counter affidavit is filed by Kuldeep Singh Adhikari, Station Officer, P.S. ITI Kashipur, District Udham Singh Nagar. In paragraph no. 4 of the said affidavit, it is mentioned that vehicle in question was released and custody thereof was handed over to the petitioner, vide Supurdagi Nama dated

01.08.2018. Copy of Supurdagi Nama is enclosed as Annexure-1 to the Short Counter Affidavit.
5. After release of the vehicle, relief as claimed in the writ petition, do not survive.
6. The writ petition is, accordingly, dismissed as infructuous.
