Vashistha, Advocate ---- 10/24.04.2026 This petition has been filed for cancellation of bail granted to the Opposite Party no.2 passed in ABA No.2206 of 2018 by order dated 27.06.2018. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that on wrong submission, the anticipatory bail has been obtained by the O.P.No.2 to the effect that the amount has been refunded, however, the same was not refunded by the petitioner, and in view of that, the anticipatory bail granted to the O.P.No.2 may kindly be cancelled. 3. In the order granting bail of the Coordinate Bench it has come that by the Axis Bank Cheque No.103422 dated 01.12.2014, amount has been returned and in course of argument, nothing has been shown to suggest that amount has not been paid through cheque. 4. It is well settled that once the bail is granted, it cannot be cancelled in a routine manner and only on cogent reason and if sufficient ground is shown, then only the bail can be cancelled. 5. In view of above, I am not inclined to cancel the anticipatory bail granted to O.P.no.2, and as such, this petition is, hereby, dismissed. ( Sanjay Kumar Dwivedi, J.) SI/, 24.04.2026
