Mr. Debanjan Mukherjee ….for the WBSEDCL Mr. Sayan Kanjilal ….for the Respondent Nos. 7 to 9 It is submitted on behalf of the private respondents that indirect attempts are being made to encroach on the land belonging to the private respondents. The WBSEDCL is represented and submit that they have no objection to provide an electricity connection to the petitioner. However, there are serious objections which have been raised by the private respondents. In view of the rival claims raised in the petition, WPA 4751 of 2026 stands disposed of by directing the concerned District Magistrate to consider the grievance of the petitioner dated 19.01.2025 within a period of eight weeks from the date of communication of this order and after giving a right of hearing to all the parties including the private respondents. It is made clear that there has been no adjudication on the merits of the case and all issues are left open for the concerned jurisdictional District Magistrate to decide in accordance with law.
