The instant bail applications have been filed by the petitioners under Section 483 BNSS who has been arrested in connection with the FIR No.0012/2026 dated 10.01.2026 [2026:RJ-JP:9950] (2 of 3) [CRLMB-2644/2026] registered at the Police Station Anantpura, District Kota City, for the offences under Sections 8/15 and 8/18 of NDPS Act. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioners submit that the petitioners have been falsely implicated in the FIR while alleging that the contraband recovered from the joint possession of petitioners Vijay Singh, Jaspal Singh and Manjeet Singh weighing 29.195 kg of poppy husk and 80 grams of afeem. They submits that petitioner Pukhraj Banjara is not named in the FIR and he is implicated on the statement of other co-accused. They further submit that the contraband recovered is below commercial quantity. They further submit that there no previous criminal antecedents of similar nature are pending against the petitioners. They, thus, urges that the petitioners deserve to be released on bail. 3. Per contra, learned Public Prosecutor opposes the bail applications, however, is not in a position to refute the fact that the contraband recovered is below commercial quantity and the petitioners have no criminal antecedents of similar nature. 4. Having considered the submissions advanced at Bar by learned counsel for the parties and having regard to the entirety of facts and circumstances of the case as available on record; and looking to the fact that trial may take a long time to conclude and, without expressing any opinion on the merits/demerits of the case, this Court deems it fit to enlarge the petitioners on bail. 5. Consequently, the bail applications are allowed. It is ordered that the accused petitioners (1) Vijay Singh S/o Balwant Singh, (2) Pukhraj Banjara @ Raju S/o Baluram, (3) Jaspal Singh S/o Bachan Singh and (4) Manjeet Singh S/o Bhagwan Singh, arrested in connection with FIR No.0012/2026 dated 10.01.2026 registered at the Police Station Anantpura, [2026:RJ-JP:9950] (3 of 3) [CRLMB-2644/2026] District Kota City, for the offences under Sections 8/15 and 8/18 of NDPS Act, shall be released on bail; provided they furnish personal bond in the sum of Rs.50,000/- each and two sureties of Rs.25,000/- each to the satisfaction of the learned trial Court, with a stipulation to appear before that Court on all dates of hearing and as and when called upon to do so.
