Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, learned Standing Counsel for the State and Mr. K. Shahi, learned Advocate who has put in appearance on behalf of respondent no. 2. 2. The petitioner has preferred the instant writ petition inter-alia for the following reliefs: "A. Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of writ of mandamus directing and commanding the respondent no.2/Secretary, U.P. Basic Education Board, Prayagraj to consider the candidature of the petitioner for allotment of District as per preference filled by the him considering his quality point marks and placement of his name at Serial No. 471 registration no. 0900167919 /OBC/Male) in select list published by the respondent no. 2. B. Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of writ of mandamus directing and commanding the respondent no.2/Secretary, U.P. Basic Education Board, Prayagraj to decide the representation dated 27.05.2026 moved by the petitioner before him, expeditiously within stipulated period as fixed by this Hon'ble Court." 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that in view of the orders passed by the Apex Court, allotment has been made to all concerned and the persons having less quality point marks than the petitioner have been allotted districts as per their choice, however, the petitioner is being deprived of the same, though he has represented his grievance before the respondent no. 2, therefore, a direction may be issued to decide the same. 4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case but without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case set up on behalf of the petitioner, the present writ petition is disposed of with a direction upon the respondent no. 2 - Secretary, Basic Education Board, U.P. at Prayagraj to Versus Counsel for Petitioner(s) : Girish Chandra Maurya Counsel for Respondent(s) : Kushmondeya Shahi, C.S.C., Girish Chandra Maurya Rakesh Kumar Singh Pali .....Petitioner(s) State of U.P. and Another .....Respondent(s) consider and decide the petitioner's representation in accordance with law expeditiously, preferably within a period of two months from the date of production of a certified copy of this order, if there is no legal impediment. 5.
