Sarmah, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State. Page No.# 2/3 2. This is an application under Section 482 of BNSS, 2023 praying for anticipatory bail in anticipation of registration of a case in Fatasil Ambari Police Station against the accused/applicant. 3. Since no details of any FIR or complaint have been provided in the instant application, a report was called from the concerned Officer-in-Charge of Fatasil Ambari Police Station by this Court. A report dated 11.05.2026 of the ASI, Mr. Prafulla Gogoi, Fatasil Ambari P.S., Guwahati West District has been received by this Court from the Additional Public Prosecutor. The report reveals that on 09.04.2026, a complaint was lodged by one Smti. Moromi Rabha against the accused/applicant and his bodyguards alleging that the accused/applicant along with his bodyguards forcibly entered into their residence and assaulted her and her husband. It was also alleged that one tenant of the informant, namely, Raja Basfor was also assaulted. It was also alleged that the accused/applicant and his associates touched her in a wrong manner to outrage her modesty. The report reveals that a GDE was made vide Fatasil Ambari P.S. GDE No.10 dated 10.04.2026. It is also revealed in the report that the place of occurrence was visited by the police and in terms of the investigation, they found sufficient prima facie materials against the accused/applicant about his involvement in the alleged offence as narrated in the Page No.# 3/3 complaint by the informant. 4. Taking into account the report which is kept in the file marking “X”, this Court is of the considered opinion that the privilege of anticipatory bail cannot be granted to the accused/applicant at this stage. 5.
