The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking following reliefs:- “10.1 That the Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to direct the respondents authorities to consider and decide claim of the petitioner and to grant compassionate appointment in favour of the petitioner on account of death of his father (deceased) within stipulated time, in the interest of justice. 2 10.2 Any other relief which may be suitable in the facts and circumstances of the case, may also be granted. ” 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he is not pressing this writ petition on merits and is only seeking a direction to the Respondent No. 2 to consider and take decision on the letter dated 30.12.2006 forwarded by the Principal, Kirodimal Government Polytechnic, District – Raigarh at the earliest within specified time frame. 3. On the other hand, learned counsel for the Respondents/State would submit that as petitioner is not pressing this writ petition on merits and is only seeking a direction to the Respondent No. 2 to consider and take decision on the letter dated 30.12.2006, she is having no objection to the limited prayer. 4. I have heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the documents placed on record. 5. On due consideration of the submission of counsel for the respective parties, facts and circumstances of the case, nature of grievance raised by the petitioner, without entering into the merits of the claim of petitioner, this writ petition at this stage is disposed of directing the Respondent No. 2 to consider and take decision on the letter dated 30.12.2006 in accordance with law, expeditiously, preferably within a period of 03 months from the date of receipt of the order.
