1. It is stated by learned counsel for the petitioners that pursuant to advertisement dated 16.06.2022, the petitioners were appointed on the post of Physical Education Teachers vide order dated 31.05.2023 on probation of two years. It is stated that probation of two years has been completed by the petitioners in September, 2025, yet till this date confirmation order of the petitioners has not been issued nor have the petitioners received any order for any specific order for extension of probation period.

Learned counsel submits that on account of the fact that confirmation order has not been issued, the petitioners are being paid consolidated salary and the benefit of regular pay scale has not been extended to the petitioners till this date.

Learned counsel further submits that only on account of the fact that certain complaints were received with regard to granting appointment to certain candidates on the basis of forged documents, on 14.08.2025 a Committee was constituted by the State Government for conducting an enquiry with regard to veracity of the documents of candidates appointed pursuant to advertisement dated 16.06.2022 and the Committee was required to submit its report within a period of 7 days. Although, more than 9 months have expired, the respondents have not taken any final decision with regard to confirmation of the petitioners.

Learned counsel submits that at no point of time doubt has been raised by the respondents over the qualification documents submitted by the petitioners for seeking appointment pursuant to aforesaid advertisement and only on account of fishing and roving enquiry made by the respondents against other employees, petitioners have been made to suffer.
5. Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and perused the record.

In the light of submissions made by the petitioners, it is clear that till date, the respondents have not taken any decision of either confirming the petitioners or to extend their probation period or to pass any other order in accordance with law, therefore, under these circumstances, this Court deems it just and proper to grant liberty to the petitioners to submit a representation before the Competent Authority, raising all their grievances, which shall be considered by the Competent Authority and a speaking order strictly in accordance with law shall be

7. The writ petition stands disposed of accordingly.
8. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on merits of the case.
