This writ petition is filed to issue Writ of Mandamus declaring the proceedings of the second respondent dated 07.12.2015 as illegal, arbitrary and violative of Articles 14 and 300-A of the Constitution of India and consequently to set-aside the same and direct the respondents to restore the service connection of the petitioner bearing SC.No.152557708000319. 2. During hearing, learned Standing Counsel for APEPDCL furnished written instructions dated 10.08.2026 issued by the Deputy Executive Engineer, Operation, APEPDCL, Achanta. As per the said instructions, the petitioner had paid Rs.64,707/- on 12.01.2016 and Rs.64,706/- on 28.02.2023. In view of the payments made, the respondents have not disconnected the petitioner’s power supply. The service connection is presently live, and no arrears are outstanding against the petitioner. 3. In view of the fact that the entire amount due has already been paid, the petitioner’s service connection is not disconnected, and the same is presently in live status, nothing further survives for consideration in the present writ petition. Accordingly, the writ petition is closed. 4 3.
