The present petition is filed with following prayer:- “(a) By issuing appropriate writ order or direction, the Respondents be directed to treat Prateek Bhandari son of petitioner as general category candidate from the time of his admission instead of NRI sponsorship candidate. (b) That the Respondent No. 1 be directed to either refund the excess amount of fees charged from the petitioner/petitioner's son at the time of admission and in the subsequent semesters or to adjust the same towards the future fees. The matter pertains to the year 2009 and it appears that thereafter the petitioner qualified the said course. On account of the fact that the matter appears to be academic in nature, this Court deems it proper to dispose of the present petition with liberty to the petitioner to file appropriate representation before the respondent/competent authority with prayer of refund of fees/ consideration of the petitioners’ fee under a specific category and reimbursement of the same, if deemed appropriate as per the governing statute and the factual warrants of the matter at hand and the same may be decided within a period of ninety days strictly in accordance with law. 4.
