(2) According to petitioner, he was engaged as Internal Inspector in Uttarakhand Organic Commodities Board in the year 2004; he is working continuously in the said capacity, but his claim for regularisation is not being considered. By means of this writ petition, petitioner has sought the following relief: “(i) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the respondents to regularize the services of the petitioner on the vacant post of Internal Inspector in Uttarakhand Organic Commodities Board (Respondent No. 3) in terms of “Daily Wage, Work Charge, Contractual, Fixed Pay, Part time and Adhoc Employees Regularization Rules, 2013” read with “Daily Wage, Work-Charged, Contract, Fixed- Pay, Part-Time and Ad-hoc Employees Regularization (Amendment) Rules, 2025 with all consequential benefits.” (3) Mr. Sandeep Kothari, learned Counsel appearing for respondent no. 3 and 4, submits that initially petitioner was engaged in a project in the absence of any sanctioned post and post was created several years thereafter. He, however, submits that if petitioner makes UKHC010104622026 2026:UHC:5149 representation staking claim for regularisation on the post of Internal Inspector, the same shall be dealt with as per law. (4) Writ petition is, accordingly, disposed of by permitting the petitioner to make representation. If he makes representation within ten days from today, decision thereupon shall be taken by respondent no. 4, as per law, within eight weeks thereafter.
