The Petitioner has approached this Court for grant of regular bail in connection with Chirkunda (Kumardhubi O.P.) P.S.Case No. 342 of 2025, registered for the offence under Sections 21(a), 22(a) of N.D.P.S. Act. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has falsely been implicated in this case. He further submits that 5.2 grams of brown sugar, which falls under intermediary quantity, has been recovered from the possession of the petitioner. He further submits that the petitioner is languishing in custody since 22.11.2025; as such, the petitioner may be enlarged on bail. He lastly submits that the petitioner is ready to abide by every condition as imposed by this Court. 4. Learned A.P.P opposes the prayer for bail of the Petitioner. 5. Having regard to the fact that quantity is almost just about small quantity and also the fact that the petitioner is languishing in custody since 22.11.2025; I am inclined to enlarge the Petitioner on bail. Accordingly, the above-named Petitioner is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand Only) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Special Judge (N.D.P.S), Dhanbad, in 2026:JHHC:7302 2 connection with Chirkunda (Kumardhubi O.P.) P.S.Case No. 342 of 2025 6. It is made clear that the Petitioner shall appear on each and every date before the learned trial court and he shall not threaten any witness and shall co-operate in trial and if any adverse report will come against this Petitioner, learned trial court shall be at liberty to cancel the bail of this Petitioner.
