When the matter came up yesterday(25.02.2026), Dr.T.Seenivasan took time to get instructions. 4. When I took it up today, Dr.T.Seenivasan states that after the writ petition had been filed, the petitioner, Mohammed Abdullah, had approached the respondent and has given a letter stating that the advance of Rs.5 lakhs that was given by him for taking shop Nos. 14 and 15, may be adjusted towards the https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis WP No. 7572 of 2026 __________ Page2 of 5 re-auction that was proposed to be held on 25.02.2026. 4. Pursuant to the letters given, the auction was conducted for shop Nos. 14 and 15. Since there was an interim direction in this writ petition, the auction has not been confirmed. As the subsequent letter given by the petitioner removes the cause of action for the present writ petition, the writ petition stands dismissed.
