This interlocutory application has been preferred by the appellant for condoning a delay of 11 days in filing the appeal. Having been satisfied with the reasons assigned in the instant application, the same is allowed and the delay of 11 days in filing the appeal is, hereby, condoned. I.A. No. 4262 of 2026 stands disposed of. Criminal Appeal (D.B.) No. 387 of 2026 This appeal is directed against the order dated 17.10.2025 passed by the learned Additional Sessions Judge- II, Dumka, in A.B.P. No. 418 of 2025, arising out of Shikaripara P.S. Case No. 62 of 2022 by which the prayer for anticipatory bail of the appellant has been rejected. Submission has been advanced by the learned counsel for the appellant that the appellant has been implicated on the disclosure made by the co-accused. It has been submitted that in similar circumstances some of the co- accused persons have been granted bail in Cr. Appeal (DB) 2026:JHHC:11260-DB No. 2054 of 2023, Cr. Appeal (DB) No. 946 of 2023 and. Cr. Appeal (DB) No. 418 of 2024. Regard being had to the fact that the case of the appellant appears to be similarly situated to those co-accused who have been granted anticipatory bail as noted above, we while setting aside the order dated 17.10.2025 passed by the learned Additional Sessions Judge-II, Dumka in A.B.P. No. 418 of 2025, arising out of Shikaripara P.S. case no. 62 of 2022, direct the appellant to surrender before the learned trial court within a period of four weeks, and on his surrender, he shall be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Sessions Judge, Dumka, in connection with Shikaripara P.S. case no. 62 of 2022.
