Sandhawalia , Chief Justice (Oral) The present appeal directed against the judgment passed by the learned Single Judge in CWP No. 7255 of 2021, titled as HPSEB Ltd. & Ors. vs. M/s Kundlas Loh Udyog & Ors., dated 05.07.2024, is barred by 518 days. There is no plausible explanation given for the delay and it has been mentioned that the amount has also been refunded in pursuance of the directions issued by the learned Single Judge. 2. Even otherwise, the order of the learned Single Judge would go on to show that it was a consent order and the learned Senior Counsel for the petitioners-Board had admitted that the issue had already been adjudicated upon. In such circumstances, the writ petition of the appellant-Board was dismissed. 2 2026:HHC:3283 Therefore, though for different reasons also, we do not find any plausible reason to entertain the present appeal on merits. 3. Faced with this situation, counsel for the appellant- Board prays for liberty to approach learned Single Judge, for clarification whether the matter is duly covered or not. 4. Accordingly, the application for condoning the delay is dismissed, so also the appeal, with the aforesaid liberty. (G. S.
