The Court made the following: 3 THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE TARLADA RAJASEKHAR RAO WRIT PETITION No.20255 of 2026 ORDER: The present Writ Petition is filed questioning the action of the 1st respondent in proposing to constitute non-hereditary trust board to the 3rd respondent temple as per the notification issued vide G.O.Rt.No.859 dated 07.08.2025 @ Serial No.13 and consequently prayed to direct the respondents not to constitute non-hereditary trust board to the 3rd respondent temple pending the issue of petitioner’s declaration as Founder Family Member. 2. 2. One K.Sugunamma filed W.P.No.16426 of 2026 challenging the action of the respondents therein in appointing Sri Kothakota Anantacharyulu as a Founder Family Member of Sri Nettikanti Anjaneya Swamy Temple, on the ground that the said Sri Kothakota Anantacharyulu has not rendered any service as an Archaka to the subject institution and there are no records or HRC Board Proceedings indicating that the said Anantacharyulu or his ancestors ever held or claimed the status of Founder Family Member. This Court directed the petitioner in W.P.No.16426 of 2026 to pursue the remedy available under Section 87(1)(h) of the Andhra Pradesh Charitable and Hindu Religious Institutions and Endowments Act, 1987 (for short, ‘the Act 30 4 of 1987’) and suspended the proceedings issued in appointing Sri Kothakota Ananthacharyulu as Founder Family Member of Sri Nettikanti Anjaneya Swamy Devasthanam for a period of four (4) weeks. The said writ petitioner in W.P.No.16426 of 2026 has not filed any proceedings before the Endowments Tribunal. 3. In apprehension, the present Writ Petition is filed to direct the Endowments Department until the petitioner in W.P.No.16426 of 2026 files an application under Section 87(1)(h) of the Act 30 of 1987, not to appoint any trust board to Sri Nekkanti Anjaneya Swamy Devasthanam. 4. Considering the request made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, there shall be a direction to the respondents to maintain status quo existing as on today for a period of four (4) weeks, or till filing of an application by the writ petitioner in W.P.No.16426 of 2026 before the Tribunal, as directed by this Court, whichever is earlier. By virtue of this order, the petitioner cannot claim any right as a Founder Family Member, as the said order has been suspended by this Court in W.P.No.16426 of 2026. 5. With the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of.
