The applicant as the writ petitioner has preferred a accompanying writ petition WP(C) No. 6111/2025 to assail an Order/Opinion dated 14.07.2022 passed by the Foreigners’ Tribunal (1st), Udalguri in F.T. Case No. 1081/2011 by which the applicant-writ petitioner has been declared as an illegal migrant of post 25.03.1971 stream. 3. The instant application is preferred seeking rectification of the name of the applicant-writ petitioner’s father in the Cause-Title of the accompanying writ petition WP(C)/6111/2025 wherein the name of the father of the applicant petitioner is written as ‘Late Keramot Ali’ instead of ‘Keramot Ali’ as the applicant-writ petitioner’s father, Keramot Ali is still alive. It is averred that the error so crept in is an inadvertent typographical. 4. As the error kept in a Cause-Title of the writ petition appears to an inadvertent typographical error, the learned counsel for the opposite parties have submitted that they have no objection if the instant application is allowed. 5. Accordingly, this Court is also of the considered view that the error crept in the Cause-Title of the accompanying writ petition is an inadvertent typographical error and if the instant application is allowed, no prejudice is going to be caused to any of the parties. 6. Accordingly, the instant application is allowed. Page No.# 5/5 7. The learned counsel for the applicant-writ petitioner shall file an amended Cause-Title before the Registry within 3(three) working from today and on submission an amended Cause-Title, the Registry is to carry out the necessary correction in the Cause-Title as well as in the CIS.
