Also heard Mr. K. K. Parasar, learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State of Assam and Mr. R. Dey, learned counsel for the respondent No.2. 2. This is an application under Section 528 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 praying for quashing the proceedings of Bharalamukh P.S. Case No.569/2021. 3. The petitioner, Rupesh Goel @ Rupesh Kr. Goel is the brother-in-law of the respondent No.2. It may be mentioned that the respondent No.2 is having dispute with her husband. 4. On 06.07.2021, she lodged a complaint before Police stating that she was given permission to stay in her matrimonial house by an order of the Court and on that day, the present petitioner being her brother-in-law came to her house and misbehaved with her. 5. Today, Mr. Dey, learned counsel for the respondent No.2 submits that both parties have already setelled their disputes and the respondent No.2 is not interested to proceed further in this matter against her brother-in-law. Page No.# 3/3 6. Considering all these facts, the prayer is allowed. 7. The criminal proceedings of Bharalamukh P.S. Case No.569/2021 are quashed and set aside. 8.
