Das, learned counsel for the respondent No. 1 and Mr. A. Boruah, learned counsel appearing on behalf of Mr. C. Boruah, learned counsel for the respondent No. 4. By the order dated 24.03.2022 passed in WP(C) No. 3479/2021, this Court, as an interim measure, directed the Director of Higher Education, Assam to release the provisional pension of the petitioner pending issuance of final PPO by the Accountant General (A&E), Assam. Today when the matter is taken up, Mr. S. Das, learned counsel representing the Director of Higher Education, Assam has produced an order dated 31.10.2022 passed by the Director of Higher Education, Assam, by which provisional pension @ Rs. 27,500/- per month has already been released subject to the adjustment from the final pension. In view of the aforesaid, in the opinion of this Court, the order dated 24.03.2022 passed by this Court in WP(C) No. 3479/2021 has been complied with. Accordingly, the contempt petition stands closed. The order dated 31.10.2022 passed by the Director of Higher Page No.# 3/3 Education, Assam is kept on record. A copy of the order dated 31.10.2022 passed by the Director of Higher Education, Assam, also be furnished to the learned counsel for the petitioner. JUDGE Comparing Assistant
