Alamgir learned counsel for the petitioner/applicant. Also heard Mr. D. Upamanyu, learned Standing Counsel for the Health. 2. This Interlocutory Application has been filed seeking impleadment of the Mission Director for ‘National Health Mission’ as a party respondent in the Writ Petition No. 605 of 2025. 3. The claim of the writ petitioner in the accompanying writ petitioner is for regularization to the post of Auxiliary Nurse-Midwife (ANM), in which they have been serving since 2006. They are employed under the Algapur Block, PHC in the District of Hailakandi, Assam. It is their claim that although they have rendered services for about 20 years, their services have not been regularized. 4. The learned counsel for the applicant submits that the petitioners were employed under the National Health Mission (NHM), and therefore, due to an oversight, the Director, NHM could not be arrayed as a party respondent. It is submitted that the NHM is a necessary party for granting full reliefs sought for by the petitioners. Under such circumstances, this Interlocutory Application has been filed. Page No.# 4/4 5. Mr. D. Upamanyu, learned Standing Counsel appearing for the Health Department submits that National Health Mission is represented by Ms. A. Bora. 6. Considering the submissions made and the pleadings available before this Court, this Court is of the view that the prayer of the petitioner for impleadment of the National Health Mission can be permitted without issuing of notice at this stage. No prejudice would be caused, as the proposed respondent, upon being impleaded would get adequate opportunity to file their response. 7. Accordingly, this Interlocutory Application stands allowed and disposed of. 8. The Mission Director for ‘National Health Mission’ is arrayed as party respondent No. 7 in WP(C) No. 605/2025. 9. The petitioner will file amended cause title before the Registry within a period of 1 week from today and the said writ petition will be listed on 22.07.2026. JUDGE Comparing Assistant
