JUSTICE SANJAY KUMAR MEDHI ORDER Date : 04.06.2026 Heard Ms. M. Mele, learned counsel for the applicant/writ petitioner, who by means of this application has prayed for impleadment of the following incumbent as respondent No. 3, namely, National Hydroelectric Power Corporation (NHPC), represented by its General Manager (GM) in the connected writ petition being WP(C) No. 557/2025. It is submitted that the said party is a necessary party and was inadvertently left out while presenting the writ petition. Also heard Ms. T. Wangmo, learned State Counsel, who does not object to the aforesaid prayer. Ms. Mele, learned counsel, by drawing the attention of this Court to the averments made in paragraph No. 2, has submitted that the project in question has been handed over to NHPC. Considering the above, this Court is of the opinion that a case for impleadment, as prayed for, is made out. Accordingly, the I.A. stands allowed and the incumbent named above is impleaded as respondent No. 3 in the connected writ petition. The I.A. stands disposed of. JUDGE Comparing Assistant
