This Court, vide order dated 23.07.2025, passed in MCRC No. 4710 of 2025, while rejecting the bail to the petitioner, namely, Anil Tripathi, had expressed its trust that the trial Court should make an earnest endeavor to conclude the trial expeditiously in accordance with law, preferably within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of the order, if there was no legal impediment. 3. Earlier on occasion also, this Court had granted extension of time for conclusion of the trial vide order dated 06.02.2026 in CRMP No.397/2026. The Special Judge (NDPS Act), Raigarh, District – Raigarh (C.G.) through learned Principal District and Sessions Judge, Raigarh (C.G.) vide his request letter dated 10.04.2026 has requested for grant of 01 month’s time for concluding the trial. 5. It transpires from perusal of the PUD, that the present case is at the stage of prosecution evidence, and only two prosecution witnesses are yet to be examined before the trial Court, the trial is likely to take some time for its conclusion. Hence, he prays for grant of 01 month’s time for concluding the trial. 6. The request appears to be reasonable. The concerned trial Court is directed to conclude the trial as early as possible, preferably within a further period of 01 month from today. 7. Accordingly, this CRMP stands disposed of with the aforesaid direction. 8.
