Petitioner has filed this petition seeking following relief (s) :- “ 10.1 That, this Hon’ble Court may kindly be pleased to issue an appropriate writ/direction/order to the respondent authorities with a direction to consider the case of the petitioner for grant of promotion on the post of Accountant from the post of Assistant Grade – III. 10.3 That, this Hon’ble court may kindly be pleased to direct the respondent authorities to consider and decide the representation submitted by the petitioner granting promotion to the petitioner on the post of Accountant from the post of Assistant Grade - III. 10.4 Any other relief, which this Hon’ble Court deems fit and proper, may also kindly be granted to the petitioner, in the interest of justice.” 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is working as Assistant Grade-III and according to the service rules applicable, after completion of five years on the post of Assistant Grade – III petitioner became eligible for promotion on the post of accountant as he is also having certificate of accounts training. The respondent no. 3 though initiated the proceedings for promotion, however, it is not finalized and aggrieved with which petitioner has submitted representation before respondent no. 2 and 3 which is still pending consideration and therefore, direction be issued to respondent no. 2 and 3 to consider and take decision on the representation Annexure P-8 submitted on 28.01.2026 and 05.02.2026 expeditiously, within a stipulated time frame. 3 3. Learned counsel for the State submits that as petitioner is not pressing this writ petition on merits and is only seeking direction to consider and decide the representation submitted by petitioner, she is having no objection. However, she submits that the main grievance of petitioner is with respondent no. 3, for whom she is not appearing. 4. I have heard learned counsel for the respective parties. 5. As petitioner is only seeking direction to respondent authorities to consider and take decision on the representation submitted by petitioner, I find it appropriate to dispose of this writ petition at this stage, without issuing notice to respondent no. 3 and directing respondent no. 2 and 3 to consider and take decision on the representation submitted by petitioner vide Annexure P/8 dated 28.01.2026 and 05.12.2026, in accordance with law, expeditiously, preferably within a further period of three months from the date of receipt of the Order.
