O R D E R 01.06.2026 Mr. W.R. Ngullie, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioners submits that the present writ petition cannot be proceeded with in its form, taking into account that in the meantime, a selection/election(s) had already taken place and the result have also been announced. He therefore submits that the petitioner may be permitted to withdraw the instant writ petition without prejudice to the petitioner to again approach this Court challenging the result of the selection/election. Mr. C.T. Jamir, the learned Senior Counsel appears on behalf of the private respondent Nos. 5 & 6 and submits that he has no objection on the withdrawal with liberty.
Page No.# 3/3 Considering the above, the instant writ petitioner therefore stands closed on withdrawal. It is observed that the withdrawal of the instant writ petition shall not preclude and prejudice the petitioner to again approach this Court challenging the result of the selection/election. Mr. E.
