2. The prayer in the petition is to issue a writ of mandamus directing the respondent Revenue Authorities to restore the revenue entries in the RTC in respect of 15 guntas of land in Survey No.58/2 of Hulimavu Village, Begur Hobli, Bengaluru South Taluk. Earlier the petitioners were before this Court in WP No.2267/2021 being aggrieved of order dated 20.11.2019 passed by the Assistant Commissioner, Bengaluru South Sub-Division. This Court by Order dated 06.10.2023 accepted the contention of the petitioner that the petitioner had retained 15 guntas of land and had sold the remaining extent and got 15 guntas of land converted from agricultural to non-agricultural purposes by order dated
17.10.1987. Thereafter, admittedly the property has been assessed in the records of the BBMP and the khatha also is registered in the office of the BBMP.
3. If that is the admitted position, question of continuing the name of the petitioner in the revenue records would not arise. If there is a dispute between the

petitioner and the neighbouring landowners, and if the petitioners are already before the Civil Court, appropriate direction may be sought at the ends of the Civil Court for survey at the ends of the Survey Authorities. With these observations, the writ petition stands
disposed of.
