BEFORE HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE DEVASHIS BARUAH Advocates For the petitioners : T.B. Jamir For the respondents : Bichano Kithan, Govt. Adv., Nagaland : A. Sophie (R/4)
O R D E R 04.06.2026 Heard Mr. T.B. Jamir, the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioners, Ms. Bichano Kithan, the learned Government Advocate appearing on behalf of the respondent State and Mr. A. Sophie, the learned counsel who appears on behalf of the respondent no. 4. 2. The instant writ petition was filed on account of the claims and objections so submitted by the petitioners as regards the tentative Seniority List of the Dobashis were not being considered. 3. This Court duly takes note of the instruction placed by Ms. Bichano Kithan, the learned Government Advocate dated 03.06.2026, issued by the Deputy Commissioner, Kiphire, Nagaland which is kept on record and marked with the letter-X. The said instructions encloses the Minutes of the Meeting held on 03.06.2026 in the chamber of the Deputy Commissioner, Kiphire on the matter relating to the Seniority List of the Dobashis, Kiphire. A perusal of the Minutes show that the claims and objections so

Before parting with the record this Court however observes that closure of the instant writ petition shall not preclude or prejudice the petitioners to challenge the Seniority List as well as the minutes of the meeting dated 03.06.2026, if so advised. JUDGE Comparing Assistant
