Case No. 59/2025 dated 01.05.2025 under Sections 20(b)(ii)(C)/29 of the NDPS Act, 1985. And In the matter of : Dilruba Khatun Bibi ……Petitioner. Mr. Gaurav Dutta Mr. Srijan Ghosh ……for the Petitioner. Mr. Bibaswan Bhattacharya Ms. Suchismita Dutta ……for the State. Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner was arrested on 1st May, 2025 and since then she is in custody. There has been alleged recovery of 73 Kgs. of Ganja from joint possession of petitioner and two others. Learned advocate for the State submits charges have been framed and witness action is about to commence. Having regard to the stage of the case, I am not inclined to release the petitioner on bail. 2 Learned Trial Court would ensure that the seizure list witnesses are examined within a period of 3 months from the next date fixed. However, petitioner would be at liberty to approach this Court after the evidence of the seizure list witnesses are over. At this stage, CRM (NDPS) 584 of 2026 is dismissed. All parties shall act in terms of server copy of the order downloaded from the official website of this Court. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities. (Tirthankar Ghosh, J.)
