The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in connection with Simariya PS Case No.100 of 2025, for offence registered under section 317(5) and 3(5) of BNS, 2023, section 11 of Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act, 1960 and section 12(1), 12(2) and 12(3) of Jharkhand Bovine Animals (Prohibition of Slaughter) Act, 2005, pending in court of learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Chatra. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is the owner of Scorpio vehicle and he has already sold the same on 05.09.2022 to one Jatan Manjhi and allegations are there of carrying bovine animals on the said Scorpio vehicle and the petitioner has got no criminal antecedent as disclosed in paragraph no.18 of the petition. 4. Learned State counsel opposes prayer and submits that the petitioner is the owner of the said vehicle. 5. Annexure-2 is the document which prima facie suggest that by way of agreement, said vehicle was sold to one Jatan Manjhi, and petitioner has got no criminal antecedent as aforesaid, and in that view of the matter, the petitioner, above named, is, hereby, directed to surrender before learned court within two weeks from today, and learned court shall release the petitioner, above named, on such terms and conditions as well as sureties as the learned court may deem fit and proper. 6.
