Order on Board 22/04/2026 1. Heard on I.A. No. 01/2026 which is an application for condonation of delay in filing the application for restoration of WPS No. 2796/2015. On due consideration and for the reason mentioned in it, the same is allowed and delay of 17 days in filing the restoration application is condoned. 2. This is an application for restoration of the W.P.(S) No. 2796/2015, which has been dismissed for want of prosecution on 09.02.2026. 3. Learned counsel for the applicant would submit that due to unavoidable reason, he could not appeared in the case, at the time when the matter was called for hearing and the writ petition has been dismissed for want of prosecution on 09.02.2026. 4. The matter pertains to selection process on the post of Assistant Professor (Audiology & Speech Language Pathology) and which requires adjudication on merits, therefore, he has filed the application for restoration of the writ petition. 3 5. On the other hand, learned counsel appearing for the respective respondents opposes. 6. Considering the submissions made by learned counsel for the parties and for the reasons mentioned in the application, the same is allowed and the W.P.(S) No. 2796/2015 is restored to its original number. 7.
