It was further submitted that no disciplinary proceedings are pending against the petitioner. The proceedings dated 08.02.2024 issued by the District Collector, reinstating the petitioner to duty, have been placed on record” 2. Accordingly, on 20.07.2026, at the request of learned counsel for the petitioner, the matter was adjourned for obtaining instructions as to whether any cause survives or not. 3. Today, learned Standing Counsel placed the proceedings dated 01.08.2026, wherein it is stated that the petitioner was reinstated into service. 4. Recording the same, the writ petition is closed as nothing remains to adjudicate the matter.
