THE DIRECTOR SOCIAL WELFARE DEPARTMENT, GOVERNMENT OF ANDHRA PRADESH TG PLAZA BUILDING TADEPALLI , GUNTUR DISTRICT, ANDHRA PRADESH. ...RESPONDENT(S): Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying that in the circumstances stated in the affidavit filed therewith, the High Court may be pleased topleased to In the above circumstances, it is prayed that this Honble 2 Court may be pleased U to issue an appropriate writ more in the nature of Writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the Respondents in not releasing the admitted due amounts to the Petitioner's Institution towards reimbursement of the expenditure incurred by them under the Reimbursement of Tuition Fee (RTF) scheme for the students admitted in the academic years 2017-18, 2018-19 and 2019-20 for the courses BTech, MTech, MBA and DIPLOMA ( a sum of Rs.2.70 crores )towards RTF for obvious reasons as being arbitrary, illegal and violating Articles 14, 16, 19 and 21 of the constitution of India and also in contravention of the GO Ms No. 115, Social Welfare Department, dated 30-11-2019 and consequential Government Orders, and consequently direct the Respondents to release the admitted amount to a tune of Rs. 2,70,34,150/- towards Reimbursement of Tuition Fee (RTF) of both Fresh and Renewals for the students admitted in the academic years 2017-18,2018-19 and 2019-20 for the courses BTech ,MTech,MBA and DIPLOMA directly to the Petitioners institution as all students admitted in these years have completed their courses and left the college by collecting their certificates and the college has not collected any amount of tuition fee from the said batches of students of the said years, together with interest thereon 24 per annum and issue such other writ or order or direction as deemed fit and proper in the circumstances of the case. Bhatt, learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Government Pleader for Social Welfare, appearing for the respondents. 2. The writ petition is filed against the action of the respondents in not releasing the admitted due amounts to the petitioner's Institution towards reimbursement of the expenditure incurred by them under the Reimbursement of Tuition Fee (RTF) scheme for the students admitted in the academic years 2017-18, 2018-19 and 2019-20 for the courses B.Tech, MTech, MBA and Diploma ( a sum of Rs.2.70 crores ) towards RTF. 3. Today, when the matter is taken up, it is brought to the notice of this Court by the learned counsel for the petitioners on record, that the issue involved in the present case is squarely covered by the order dated 12.03.2026, passed by a Coordinate Bench of this Court in W.P.No.6094 of 2026. A copy of the same is filed along with the Writ Petition as a material paper. 4. In terms of the aforesaid order and for the reasons recorded therein, this Writ Petition is disposed of directing the respondents to verify the claim of the petitioner with reference to the ‘Janmabhumi’ portal, after such verification, the amounts due to the petitioner shall be remitted within a period 4 of five (05) months from the date of receipt of this order . There shall be no order as to costs. 5. Office to enclose a copy of the order, dated 12.03.2026, passed in W.P.No.6094 of 2026, to this order.
