JUSTICE ANUROOP SINGHI Order 06/05/2026 1. Learned Public Prosecutor accepts notice on behalf of the State. 2. This criminal writ petition has been filed seeking permanent parole. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the applications filed by the petitioner before the respondent No.2 - Director General Of Prisons, Prison Directorate, Rajasthan, and respondent No.3 – Superintendent, Central Jail, Alwar, seeking grant of permanent parole are still pending. Learned counsel [2026:RJ-JP:19058] (2 of 2) [CRLW-647/2026] further submits that the petitioner is entitled for permanent parole under Rule 9 of the Rajasthan Prisoners (Release on Parole) Rules, 1958. 4. Taking into consideration the fact that a limited prayer is made before the Court, the criminal writ petition is disposed of with the direction to the respondent No.2 – The Prisoners Parole Advisory Committee (State Committee), through its Chairman, Director General Of Prisons, Rajasthan, to take a decision on the application submitted by the petitioner for grant of permanent parole within a period of one month from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order. 5.
