This is an application under Section 482 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, for grant for pre-arrest bail in respect of Silapathar P.S. Case No.83/2026, under Section 85/109/305 BNS, 2023 read with Section 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act, 1961. 3. The daughter-in-law of the present petitioner has alleged in the FIR that she had undergone medical termination of pregnancy before her marriage with her son and that is the reason why she could not become pregnant after her marriage. 4. This is the only allegation brought against the present petitioner by her daughter-in- law. The present petitioner is more than 60 years old. Therefore, this Court is of the opinion that the petitioner does not deserve to be detained in custody for the allegation brought against her by her daughter-in-law. Therefore, pre-arrest bail application is allowed. 5. It is hereby directed that in the event of arrest in connection with Silapathar P.S. Case No.83/2026, the petitioner, Kamal Kumari Doley shall be released on bail of Rs.25,000/- with a surety of like amount to the satisfaction of the arresting authority. 6.
